Voting for the 2009 SA Blog Awards has opened. Being a only a few months old, SA Car Fan is in the running for the “Best New Blog” award.
Since the first blog post back in December ‘08, SA Car Fan has delivered 135 posts, risen from way down on the rankings of South African blog aggregator Amatomu to around the 450 mark, and last month received just over 530 unqiue new visitors.
Cearly we wouldn’t be off to the tyre-smoking start we’ve had, without you fellow car fan’s sharing our passion. So for the sake of accelerating our success, vote for SACarFan.co.za as the “Best New Blog” for 2009.
The voting process is simple…click on the link for the SA Blog Awards, or the big grey dog tag on the right of your page, and your SA Car Fan nomination will be pre-populated for the “Best New Blog”. Fill in your valid email address at the bottom of the page and hit submit.
You’ll then receive a link via email to confirm your vote. All you need to do is click on the link and your vote will be submitted.
Voting is open between 1 March through to 1 April, and the winners will be announced on 3rd April 2009.

Thank you all for your nominations. SA Car Fan didn’t quite make the cut this year but you can be sure we’ll be in the running next year. Congratulations to all finalists and don’t forget to cast your vote for your favourite blog/website.
