HGTE comes from Handling GT Evoluzione and names a package that includes stiffer springs and rear anti-roll bar and new calibration for the shock absorbers. The Ferrari 599 GTB HGTE has also a faster gearbox and a re-programmed engine control unit, but the engine is the same V12 with 456kW.
