Video: Gigafactory will accelerate lithium-ion production

Aerial shots revealthe enormity of Tesla’s new gigafactory, set to begin business in two months’ time. “We are excited to announce that the Gigafactory Grand Opening event will take place on the evening of Friday, July 29, at our facility outside Reno, Nevada“, Tesla wrote.

The 5-billion dollar facility built in Nevada covers 5.8 million square feet and is expected to double the world’s lithium-ion production.
