Bentley could get new look with hotshot designer

A revised exterior design for all upcoming Bentley models is what John Paul Gregory, the new head of exterior design, will be aiming to achieve when he takes on his new role.

Bentley’s range of coupes, GT models, sedans and the recent Bentayga SUV share many elegantly evolved design traits but John Paul will be looking to stamp his own personal preferences onto this iconic sheet metal.

Climbing the ranks at Bentley, John Paul Gregory has been with the British-based automaker for more than eight years but his CV begins when received a Masters in Automotive Design and an Honours Degree in Transportation Design. He then plied his trade at Volkswagen where he worked on exterior design and with Volkswagen owning Bentley, his talents were quickly recognized.

John won’t be working alone on crafting a look that is both traditional and modern. He’ll be joined by Stefan Sielaff who helped lead Bentley’s design team in 2015 after Luc Donckerwolke left for KIA/Hyundai. The two designers will make a formidable duo in a company where only the finest craftsmanship is allowed.
