I agree that ideally one should have the gear changes and braking done before entering the corner for the car to be settled through the turn. However, in this particular case the car was still not completely run in and it was the drivers first time with the car on the track. The owner, Sean McKay, has race experience and is currently participating in the V8 Master Series, so as far as circuit knowledge goes, I’m sure there’s not much he doesn’t know.
