Sport Package For The New Kia Sorento
Posted on 16 September 2010 by Scott Hayes
This image of what is likely to be a sport package for the new 2011 Kia Sorento, was found on one of the manufacturers websites recently.
Peer closely and you’ll spot a few differences between the regular model and this 2011 Kia Sorento package. The front bumper looks completely new, incorporating a splitter and a new grille mesh. The most obvious change is around the front fog lights, which are much bigger and bolder than in the standard car. Below the fog lights are air-vents covered with a mesh-looking grille, while the headlights also seem to have been given a smoked look.
The alloy wheels pictured aren’t available on the local Kia Sorento range, so it’s assumed they’re also part of the sports package. We’ll bring you more details as they become available.

- Just Noting Says: November 4th, 2010 at 5:04 am Err, just noting here that the image does *not* depict a Sportage sport package, but rather a standard 2010 KIA Sorento. The KIA Sorento is another car all together (a cruiser, not an SUV). You obviously have no idea what you are talking about.
- Scott Says: November 4th, 2010 at 7:23 am @Just Noting – You are 100% correct. There is no logical explanation as to why it was identified as a new Sportage, when in fact it is clearly a Kia Sorento. Apologies. You can find more on the Sorento here, or more on the Sportage here.
- Mark David Says: March 22nd, 2011 at 7:25 am Thanks for sharing this information about Kia Sorento. It’s really interesting and useful too. So choosing best Kia Sorento Car will never be out of vogue.
- styris Says: March 29th, 2011 at 2:43 pm I’ve been a Kia owner for decade now. I find Kia the most affordable and a tough brand when it comes to car. Now that they launched the new 2010 Kia Sorento, I never had a second thought of purchasing one. Just like last time, I’ll probably head over to a Chicago Kia dealer because it’s a nice break from the Iowa scene. If you are looking for an affordable SUV, this 2010 Kia Sorento is probably the best choice. You can check out a car dealer site and see why 2010 Kia Sorento is different from other SUV’s.
