Video: 2013 Mercedes-Bens E63 AMG On Track

Mercedes has taken their 2013 E63 AMG Estate and Sedan to the racetrack to show off the super-sedan’s wild side, and wild it most certainly is. With 410 kW and 720 Nm, the new E63 AMG is already more powerful than the outgoing car. A new ‘S’ model, however, boosts power from the 5.5-litre bi-turbo V8 to 430 kW and 800 Nm. In conjunction with permanent all-wheel drive (4Matic) for the first time on a Merc sedan, the manufacturer claims a 0 – 100 km/h time of 3.5 seconds. That sounds a bit optimistic to us, but we hope to be proven wrong when the car eventually arrives.
