Video: Boosted Toyota 86 Spawns GRMN Sports FR Concept Platinum

Gazoo Racing is one of Toyota’s most successful motorsport partners, having competed in the such hallowed events as the Nürburgring 24-Hours race. Gazoo Racing has now begun developing aftermarket parts for Toyota and with so much work being done on the Toyota 86, Gazoo have done enough development work to warrant an entirely new concept car.

The GRMN Sports FR Concept Platinum is based on the Toyota 86 (sold as the Scion FR-S in North America) and forms the showcase for the tuning potential of the motorsports firm. The concept boasts both aerodynamic and performance enhancements, with the later being thanks to a super- and turbocharger combination that affords the concept 240 kW and 430 Nm.
