Audi has released driving footage of the upcoming RS Q3 compact SUV. The first Q model to boast the RS moniker, is characterised by a turbocharged 2.5-litre 5-cylinder engine that produces 228 kW and 420 Nm of torque. Quattro all-wheel drive delivers power to the road via a 7-speed S tronic gearbox. 5.5 Seconds is all the RS Q3 needs to reach 100 km/h and it’s top speed is limited to 250 km/h.

Styling tweaks include an aggressive body kit that includes deeper bumpers, side skirts, a honeycomb grille and roof-mounted spoiler. Audi’s trademark matte aluminium finish is seen on the side mirrors and various trim strips. The Audi RS Q3 rides on either 19- or 20-inch alloy wheels and is 25 mm lower than the standard Q3.
