Video: Lexus IS 300h F Sport

The Lexus IS 300h is the first model in the IS series to feature a hybrid drivetrain. The BMW 3 Series fighter is powered by a 131 kW 2.5-litre V6 petrol engine that’s combined with a 104 kW electric motor. Total combined power output is 162 kW, which is sent to the rear wheels via an E-CVT transmission. The IS 300h completes the 0 – 100 km/h dash in 8.3 seconds and has a top speed of 200 km/h. Impressive, however, are its CO2 emissions of only 99 g/km and an average fuel consumption of 4.2 l/100km.
