Video: The Story Of The McLaren P1 Hypercar’s Pirelli Tyres

Pirelli has been working on their tyre for the McLaren P1 hypercar for 7 years already! As with the 12C, McLaren chose Pirelli as their OEM supplier of custom high performance tyres. As Marcus Korback from McLaren’s Special Operations points out, developing a production tyre for a such a high performance car is a far more complex task than for circuit racing.
