McLaren will be showcasing a number of historic cars at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, in celebration of their 50th Anniversary. One of many highlights will be the new 12C GT Can-Am that was announced late last year. As a refresher, the 12C GT Can-Am Edition is described as the “rawest, most track-focused model” in McLaren’s history. It boasts too many racing specification items to mention, but the aggressive body kit is an obvious one, along with a stripped out and roll cage filled interior, with power coming from a tweaked version of the 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 that produces 470 kW. Only 30 of these purpose built cars will be available at a starting price of around £375 000.
