Comparing the performance of the Range Rover Sport Supercharged to that of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo would have been a pointless exercise until the 2013 version arrived. Having shed 45 kgs and improved aerodynamics to the tune of 25%, can the new RR Sport have a serious jab at the Cayenne?

The Porsche Cayenne Turbo is in a class of its own when it comes to performance SUVs in our experience and we suspect the only thing to topple it from our number one spot will be its successor.
