Video: Turbo’d Honda Civic Type R Confirmed And Shown Off At The ‘Ring

The Honda Civic Type R will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with at least 206 kW. So says the president of Honda Europe, Manabu Nishimae, at the Frankfurt Motor Show earlier this week.

“We have recently spent a week at the Nurburgring, carrying out extensive testing and we are on target, and have already set a time approaching the lap record” Manabu Nishimae said.

There is no news as to when we could see a final production version of the CTR, but expectations are that it’ll be a while still and closer to 2015.
