The theme for the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed has been announced and it’s one not to be missed – then again they never are.
The theme Full Throttle – The Endless Pursuit of Power tees the show up for another fever-pitch spectacle as it celebrates the most powerful cars and bikes in the history of motorsport. If they doesn’t get your blood racing, nothing will.
The 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed will emphasise other important milestones; the 100th running of Indianapolis, 40th anniversary of James Hunt’s F1 championship, 50th anniversary of Sir Jack Brabham winning an F1 World Championship (in a car bearing his name) and the 50th anniversary of the legendary Can-Am series.
As for the traditional Revival Tribute the show will commemorate Sir Jack Brabham who passed away on the 18 May 2014 aged 88. Poignantly Jack tested many of his cars at the Goodwood Motor Circuit and the dedicated car display will be another highlight for motorsport fans.
